These cats are a couple of our garden ornaments, they have both seen better days, but have a certain character which fits well amongst all the other things around our outside space. They can't stand up straight and have a lot of chips and bumps as well as most of their paint has gone, but we still love them. Although this is in our garden rather than in the home, as we think of our garden as another room in our home I have selected this as qualifying for the extra credit.
This has to be the quickest I have ever managed to complete a challenge, I had the idea in advance and after a few different angles I settled with this capture. I used a ring flash to try to get an even spread of light and avoid shadows under the watch hands and used a tripod to help me get the framing right
This is just a small part of what was once one of my lenses, it met an untimely end when I dropped my camera thinking the strap was round my wrist, a costly mistake, but at least the camera survived. I struggled not to get shadows even using a ring flash, but managed to eliminate most of them.
