This is a composite of two images, the first being a local harbour taken at the start of the week but with poor skies and the second of the sky tonight, I will share both images in the comments, I used the sky image twice, once the right way round, and then I inverted it to add some star reflections in the water, this I struggled with, but was happy with the result in the end. This is the first time I have tried this, so although not perfect, I did learn a new technique this week. the settings for the stars was ISO 3200 30 second exposure @ f/2.8 using a 15-30 Tamron lens at 15mm.
This may seem like a simple question to some, but if you show me most of the colours in this image on their own, I would say "that one is purple" yet there are a number of different colours and shades of colours in the scene. One of them must be right though, surely?
