I went with a strobe light to capture some movement, and after a number of attempts with different speeds and settings I got this image. This was set to make ten flashes over a 2 second period while my subject moved his hand slowly upwards. Although the ISO was set at 100, there was a lot of noise once the image was developed as the image was underexposed due to the power of the flash having to be set low enough to keep the flash going for 10 flashes.
This image is of Ivy Cottage in the small village of Stodmarsh in Kent UK. The editing was completed by my brother in-law Danny Kemp who is mainly a wedding photographer. The editing was done using Lightrooom and Silver Efex pro 2.
In the whole of our garden, I could only find one image where there would be an odd number of similar flowers in one image, and here they are. Three yellow lillys. I will share an image of the garden so you can see how crowded it is, so finding these was quite hard, and framing left me with few options to avoid distractions
