This man is Wullie Stewart, who drives this rather fast Mk2 Ford Escort in the BTRDA Clubmans rallycross, this is his first season owning the car and is still getting a feel for it's power. The car itself was involved in a spectacular crash two seasons ago at this circuit (see link) but Wullie tells me he intends to keep his wheels firmly on the ground. I met him for the first time at this event where I act as the photographer for Ian Biagi, another driver at the event. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xj8C9vNTXD0
There can be nothing more simple than an egg. I took quite a few different shots of this one though, and all produced different results. I had the egg on it's end, facing both ways and with the makers marking showing, the light (A torch with a soft box on it) held at all sorts of angles, this one was the one that seemed to look most pleasing. I couldn't find a white egg, lots of brown ones, but no white, so I got a blue egg instead which worked well with the background. I desaturated to add to the minimalism.
Although I came out of the Army in 1986 I am still very involved with service life, it takes a lot of my time up which I enjoy, and keeps me in touch with many veterans I served with. Outside of my family it is still one of the most important things in my life.
